Three tips on how to say the dates in English
Let's practice saying the dates in English while also celebrating #internationalwomensday!
1. we use "on" to talk about events that take place on a specific day
2. In American English, it is common to say the month first, but you will also find on special celebrations (such as 4th of July) they will say the dates in a similar way to British English (which sounds more formal)
3. When the celebration is a day dedicated to a specific group of people we use the genitive case ('s). Therefore, we say "International women'S day", "Father's day", "Children's day"...
