A challenge commonly faced by IELTS test takers is covering all question type possibilities prior to the exam. One of the things that can really help making sure examinees are up to speed is having them gradually fill out an "IELTS progress list", which basically consists of a document where they add comments about the difficulties posed by each possible kind of question the test may present.
Below is a list I have shared with a few of my students now. My goal is to make sure I expose them to all kinds of question they may come across, and that they also keep notes on what they need to remember about tackling them.
Feel free to download it if you will. It's useful for both learners and teachers:
Because with every new question come three things to remember.
